Elderly residents in and around Rochester are set to enjoy exemplary day care, in a unique environment, as family run care provider, Scott Care Ltd, announce the opening of The Kathleen Onslow Day Care Centre.
The Kathleen Onslow Day Care Centre, which officially opens on the 29th June 2012, offers an innovative approach to day care where visitors can engage with state-of-the-art technologies.
Alongside the usual comfortable armchairs, exercise classes, board games and bingo, the centre has added a modern twist. Visitors can enjoy films with the cinema-like experience of a 3DTV, surf the Internet with easy to use touch-screen technology and keep fit playing golf on the Nintendo Wii. Staff will also be helping elderly visitors to video call loved ones all around the world via the Internet. With the encouragement and support of Scott Care staff visitors can interact with technologies, learn new online skills, making the most of their free time with enjoyable and entertaining activities!
The opening event is set to be a buzzing affair, where guests will have a chance to experience first-hand how Scott Cares’ approach differs from the rest. Guests will get the opportunity to have a taster session with the activities on offer, as well as enjoying a complementary lunch prepared onsite by the day care chef.
