PRESS RELEASE

17th December 2008

ARE YOU ONE OF THE LUCKY HOSPICE LOTTERY WINNERS?

The Heart of Kent Hospice drew the winning tickets for their Lottery Superdraw on Friday 12th December and Christmas definitely came early for one lucky winner, Pam Broadley, when she was told that she had won the top prize of £2000 with ticket number ‘140201’.

Pam who is from Downswood, Maidstone has been a member of the Heart of Kent Hospice lottery for ten years and has supported the work of the Hospice for the last 16 years.

Pam’s father spent some time in the Hospice before he sadly passed away in August this year and Pam was overwhelmed by the care and support that the Hospice was able to give him.

Having been presented with her cheque for £2000 by Ant Payne from KMFM, Graeme Pryke, Lottery Co-ordinator at the Hospice asked Pam what she will do with her winnings; “My husband currently works away in Florida so I will be able to go out and meet him in January and we can have a great holiday together there.”

There are lots more lucky winners so be sure to check your Superdraw ticket to see if you have won. The £500 2nd Prize winner is from the Snodland area, ticket number 188880, 3rd prize of £200 goes to 29403, 4th prize of £100 goes to 170657.
