CHARITY AUCTION RAISES VITAL FUNDS FOR HOSPICE
The White Horse in Bearsted recently celebrated its second birthday by hosting an exclusive Charity Auction Night on behalf of The Heart of Kent Hospice.
The evening was a major success raising nearly £5,000 through the sale of such lots as a Tree of Life, a Volkswagon car, autographed sporting memorabilia, hot air ballooning, and a week’s holiday in Tenerife, all donated by local businesses and friends and supporters of the White Horse.
Manager at the White Horse, Jay Carswell, says he would like to continue to show his commitment and support to the Hospice and has a full calendar of events planned for the remainder of the year. The Hospice would like to thank Jay and everyone at the White Horse for their fantastic support.
If you would like to support The Heart of Kent Hospice, why not join in this year’s Bluebell Walk on the 3rd May. Starting at Harrietsham Village Hall, the 8 ½ mile walk takes you through private woodland across the North Downs to see the beautiful Bluebells.
