Tracey Emin said: ‘I never stopped loving you’ about Margate and those words went up in lights above the entrance of Droit House, one of the most distinctive buildings on the seafront. Pillory Barn was the driving force behind the publicity to unveil Emin’s tender neon artwork and worked with the Turner to achieve £60k of exposure from the PR campaign.
Our team worked closely with Tracy Emin to ensure the gallery met the agreement for the installation. We contacted local and national media to cover the story, generating coverage in The Lady, The Sun, ITV, BBC Radio 4 and BBC South East.
Further to this we worked with Margate Town Partnership and developed an additional marketing campaign to ensure town traders enjoyed maximum exposure from the launch.
