Branding for Kent Excellence in Business Awards.

This new awards scheme is staged and produced by Kent County Council and The KM Group to recognise and reward excellence in Kent’s businesses. Pillory Barn PR were delighted to be invited to join the KEiBA family in March 2009.

The initial support began with a telephone campaign to increase the number of award submissions and Pillory Barn made over 300 personal telephone calls to companies who had already registered their interest in the awards via the KEiBA website. By simply explaining how the awards would benefit them and how they could enter, it helped to generate just over a staggering 200 entries, exceeding everyone’s expectations.

Pillory Barn’s next role was to manage the KEiBA event and liaise with the venue, suppliers, guests, and sponsors to organise the inaugural Kent Excellence in Business Awards 2009 at Leeds Castle in July, for 500 guests. The evening proved to be a great success and highlighted the great achievements of businesses in Kent.

The Results
