Maidstone Housing Trust is registered with the Housing Corporation and is a Registered Social Landlord as well as a member of the National Housing Federation. They are a not-for-profit charitable organisation.
Maidstone Housing Trust (MHT) was registered as a local housing company in December 2002 and successfully received the voluntary transfer of 6,400 homes and related assets from Maidstone Borough Council (MBC) in early 2004.
MHT manages and owns approximately 6,154 homes, 55 commercial properties and 1177 garages. The MHT housing team is responsible for the management of theses tenancies on a day-to-day basis. This includes investigations into allegations of neighbour nuisance, rent arrears management, arranging transfers and tenant liaison, on top of housing placements and maintenance.
The Brief
The brief to Pillory Barn was to assist in the development of the MHT Annual Report 2008. This included a new look and freshen up of the previous branding, and reporting & documentation process.
The Answer
Pillory Barn designed a professional yet contemporary document template, with a bold and eye-catching use of colours. The template and refreshed branding allowed for maximum flexibility for the user, ultimately making the document as user-friendly as possible.
The Results
The Maidstone Housing Trust Annual Report 2008 is a vibrant and eye-catching yet professional document. The colours draw the reader in, and makes the Housing Trust, as an organisation and charity, feel approachable and welcoming. The Report gives MHT a contemporary look and feel, bringing the brand up-to-the-minute and promising great things for the future.
