Award-winning medical device manufacturers, Integrated Technologies Limited, a long-standing PR client of ours, approached us for some advice on their website. They had been noticing some issues regarding performance and how secure the server was, so we came to an agreement a refresh was in order.
We completely rebranded the website, migrating it from its old CMS (Joomla) to Expression Engine, as the latter is much more secure.
Our primary reason for the redesign was to make it fully responsive, ensuring that we reduced load times and made it much more mobile-friendly.
We also made it easier for the client to manage content, by moving to a user-friendly CMS.
The clearer design allows the user to navigate easier, this was reflected in the number of page views which from 51,262 to 66,107; an increase of 28.96%. The most impressive stat, however, was the fact that sessions on a mobile device grew an incredible 250.07%, a total of 10,698 compared to 3,056 in 2016.
Proving our decision to rebrand and make the site more mobile friendly was a well thought out one.
