PISO – more than floor
Walk the talk – branding a leading flooring company.
PISO are a commercial flooring specialist – when they came to us in 2019, they already had an idea for a new, great name, a host of clients and a plan to take the flooring world by storm! As a B2B specialist our first job was to explore the aspirations of the PISO team with our tailored Discovery Session – this helps us to sort out the who, what, why, where and when of developing a marketing plan and to inform the design process. (BTW – Piso is actually Spanish for floor, a favourite country of one of the directors).
It was quickly clear that modern and minimal design was favoured by the management team, a strength that is also reflected within the PISO portfolio of products. An audit of competitors and related office interiors products also formed part of the brand audit process.
Three brand concepts later, including outline straplines, logo designs, colour palette and fonts, application samples and concept notes, the final identity was chosen for its clean lines, simplicity and it’s potential to translate to the digital environment.

User journey results – A clean minimalist layout using dynamic menu navigation were employed to showcase the range of PISO’s services, taking the customer through the full service journey. A range of case studies showcasing the materials rather than client names were added to funnel enquiries more swiftly, with the overall brand delivering the desired balance between compelling aesthetic and ease of use.
