PB Launch Connect 38 for Quinn Estates
This month, we helped our client, Quinn Estates, to launch Connect 38 – the first phase of the Ashford Commercial Quarter site. Its completion marks the start of an exciting new chapter in the town’s story.
Pillory Barn organised the entire event, arranging everything from inviting guests, managing logistics, and creating video content, to ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day.
To mark the start of the event, Mark Quinn (chairman and CEO) of Quinn Estates – alongside the Leader of Ashford Council, Cllr Gerry Clarkson, and joint partner of the scheme, George Wilson, of George Wilson Developments – unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion.
The 150 guests were then guided up to the top floor of the building for drinks on the terrace of the Wilkins Kennedy office, where they had the opportunity to sample locally sourced Chapel Down sparkling wine, Curious Brew beer, or Biddenden Vineyard juice, and network.
Once everyone had enjoyed catching up over a couple of drinks in the sunshine, we asked the guests to make their way down to Floor 3, where there were exhibition boards detailing some of the other projects being progressed by Quinn Estates. Here, Mark Quinn, Cllr Clarkson and Geoff Miles of the Kent and Medway Economic Partnership (KMEP) took to the stage to highlight the difference Connect38 will make to Ashford’s future.
The launch was complete, but we still had work to do including interviewing some of the key people attending the event, producing some great content to share on social media channels for both Quinn Estates and AshfordFor post event.
As the event began to wrap up in the early evening, we reflected on what had been a hugely successful launch. The client was happy, the guests were happy and the sun was shining – you can’t ask for much more than that!
